Former Aon exec named Alliant executive vice president

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. has named Joe Cafferelli, formerly a managing director with Aon P.L.C., as executive vice president.
Mr. Cafferelli will work within Alliant’s Americas unit, which focuses on midsize businesses, the Newport Beach, California-based brokerage Monday in a statement.
He will provide insurance and risk management solutions to clients throughout the region and facilitate Alliant’s continued growth, according to the statement.
Mr. Cafferelli is based in Phoenix.
