BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
Chuck Dangelo will retire as president and CEO of Starr Insurance Holdings and be replaced by Steve Blakey, the company said Tuesday.
“We are pleased to introduce Steve as our new company president,” Maurice R. Greenberg, chairman of Starr Cos., said in a statement. “With over 35 years of experience, including establishing Starr’s presence in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe as well as making Starr one of the leading providers of aviation and aerospace insurance in the world, Steve is uniquely qualified to lead the company going forward.”
Mr. Dangelo was in the insurance industry for nearly a half century. Prior to joining Starr, he worked at American International Group Inc. and he also spent 24 years at CNA Financial Corp.
“After 46 years in the insurance industry, we would like to thank Chuck for his contributions to our company and industry,” Mr. Greenberg said in the statement. “He has been instrumental in leading Starr’s growth, and we wish him well in his retirement.”
Starr Cos. on Thursday said it has reached an agreement with law firm Jackson Lewis P.C. to offer an employment practices liability risk management program to its policyholders.
