BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Lloyd's of London insurer Beazley P.L.C. said Monday that it has acquired managing general agent Creechurch International Underwriters Ltd.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Toronto-based Creechurch provides insurance programs to small and medium enterprises in industries including technology, life sciences, health products, manufacturing, distribution and trades, architects and engineers. In 2016, Creechurch generated 36 million Canadian dollars ($27.5 million) of premiums, Beazley said in a statement.

Creechurch’s 30 employees will remain in their existing Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver offices and continue to be led by Creechurch President Phil Baker, according to the statement.
