Former Chubb exec lands at Australian insurer's North America unit

Carol A.N. Zacharias has joined QBE North America as senior vice president, underwriting counsel, the New York-based unit of Sydney-based QBE Insurance Group Ltd. announced Monday.
Ms. Zacharias will be responsible for leading the product development for QBE North America's specialty insurance and standard lines property/casualty business lines on a cross-commercial platform, QBE North America said in its announcement.
Ms. Zacharias most recently served as executive vice president, deputy general counsel for Chubb Ltd.'s North American operations.She will be based in New York.
