BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

OFF BEAT: Potato lickin' no good for fired KFC worker

Reprints

As if fast food needed anyone’s help in undermining the health of its consumers, a Kentucky Fried Chicken employee was fired this week after she was photographed licking a batch of mashed potatoes.

KFC’s Louisville, Ky.-based parent company, Yum! Brands R.S.C., confirmed on Monday that an unnamed Johnson City, Tenn., employee had been terminated for posting a Facebook photo in which she appears to be licking the fluffy peak of a pot of potatoes, according to the Johnson City Press.

A spokesman for the worldwide chicken chain said the company was sure the potatoes had not been served to any customers, according to several media reports.

The employee who took the photo also has been fired, the Johnson City Press reported.
