Aon plc structured and placed Brazil’s first and largest parametric forest fire insurance policy for stationery manufacturer Faber-Castell AG, Artemis reported. Aon said it created the policy to fill a gap in Brazil’s market, where forest fire coverage is limited despite $180 million in 2024 wildfire losses that hit sectors in the country such as agribusiness, paper and pulp and carbon credit projects.
