Mr. Mosley’s watch vanished in August 2010 after he set it on a nightstand at his home following a late-night recording session, according to his complaint. He and his wife testified that their daughter, who was 2 years old at the time, may have played with the watch while her father was sleeping and later discarded it.
The lawsuit does not say why Mr. Mosley’s insurance claim was allegedly denied by American Home Assurance, which is a unit of American International Group Inc.
Mr. Mosley is seeking $1.8 million in damages, interest dating back to the watch’s 2010 disappearance, and attorney fees. Featureflash/Shutterstock.com">
