Business Insurance Online Executive ForumTM Webinar

"Wellness and Consumer-Driven Health Care:
Contradictory or Complementary?"

Presentation date: August 14, 2007

Consumer-driven health plans are an important element in employers' efforts to control rising health care costs, but if employee wellness is overlooked, they may not be as effective as desired.

Although much of the emphasis in consumer-driven health care has been on encouraging to take greater responsibility for their own health care needs through increased cost-sharing, the wellness component of these plans is also critical for encouraging employees to take better care of themselves. However, many employers are concerned that employees enrolled in high-deductible plans will forego preventive medical treatment since they are bearing more of the cost themselves.

Listen to this Business Insurance Online Executive ForumTM Webinar for an in-depth panel discussion of how employers can successfully incorporate wellness into their consumer-driven health plans to maintain employee wellness and achieve their cost control goals. During the live online event, you will hear expert viewpoints and have opportunities to question the panelists.
