"A Permanent Solution to TRIA"

Presentation Date: August 29, 2006

As the Terrorism Risk Insurance Act faced expiration at the end of 2006, the industry again found itself pressing Congress to sustain the backstop for the U.S. insurance and reinsurance industry covering these exposures.

Join Business Insurance Editor Regis Coccia, along with our expert panel, for this webinar devoted to exploring proposals for "A Permanent Solution to TRIA." Several proposals were floated to create a more permanent solution to financing U.S. terrorism risk and providing security to insurers that write the coverage, particularly workers compensation. Before the TRIA extension expires, industry leaders are pushing for new and more lasting solutions. Attend this online panel discussion to learn about some of these new concepts and hear the viewpoints of our expert panelists.
