To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Nonlife insurance premiums soar 21%

Data from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India showed that local nonlife insurers’ aggregate premium increased almost 21% year-on-year to approximately 234 billion Indian rupees ($2.95 billion) in July, Zeebiz reported citing IANS. The results were weighed down by a decline in premiums at state-owned insurers ECGC Ltd. and Agricultural Insurance Co. of India Ltd.
