Hudson hires Willis exec as cyber leader

Hudson Insurance Group said Tuesday it has named a former Willis Towers Watson PLC senior vice president as senior vice president and cyber practice leader for its HudsonPro unit.
New York-based Hudson, a specialty insurance unit of Odyssey Group Holdings Inc., said Emily Lowe was most recently senior vice president and New England regional leader for corporate risk and cyber at Willis.
In her newly created role, Ms. Lowe, who is Boston-based, will spearhead the development of an excess cyber facility for large accounts while also overseeing Hudson’s overall cyber portfolio, the insurer said in its statement.
Ms. Lowe was a Business Insurance Break Out Award winner in 2020.
In June, Hudson named David A. Garrison senior vice president and head of its new general partners liability unit and introduced a product for asset managers.
