Aon hires construction professional liability leader from AIG

Bob Rogers, former global head of construction professional liability at American International Group Inc., has joined Aon PLC as a managing director.
Boston-based Mr. Rogers will lead Aon’s design and construction professional liability practice, the brokerage said in a statement.
He joined AIG in 1990 and worked at various units of the insurer, including its excess and surplus lines unit Lexington Insurance Co.
“During these tenures, he was the lead underwriter on some of the world’s largest design risks,” the statement said.
