BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Bermuda-based Vantage Group Holdings Ltd. said Monday it has named former CNA Financial Corp. official Andrew Lea as its senior vice president of cyber liability, technology errors and omissions, media and management professional liability insurance as it prepares to enter the U.S. cyber insurance market.

Mr. Lea was most recently head of commercial E&O, cyber & media liability underwriting at CNA.

Vantage chief executive of insurance Alex Blanco said in a statement that Mr. Lea is joining Vantage as it prepares to launch cyber and management professional liability products in the United States as “key business expansion opportunities” this year.

“It will also facilitate our entry into the cyber insurance market at a time of unprecedented need for this protection,” the statement said.

Vantage said Mr. Lea has also previously held senior level underwriting roles with Zurich Insurance, Swiss Re and American International Group Inc., as well as had prior brokerage experience at Marsh LLC.

Vantage said in February that it has secured up to $200 million of additional capital from funds managed by private equity firms Carlyle Group Inc. and Hellman & Freidman LLC.

It said it had also closed the purchase of admitted lines insurer Vantage Risk Assurance Co., formerly known as Heritage Casualty Insurance Co., from Union Fidelity Life Insurance Co.
