BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Mosaic Insurance Holdings Ltd. said Tuesday it is offering professional indemnity and directors & officers coverage for a wide range of service providers.

The Bermuda-based insurer said the coverage will be written out of London, and it will be a lead market on all coverage, taking a primary position to deploy maximum capacity of $10 million for any professional liability risk, for both international and U.S. business.

The range of service providers being offered the coverage includes lawyers, specialist engineers in target industries such as oil and gas, and marine and aviation, as well as miscellaneous professionals such as actuaries, professional and indemnity club managers, security consultants, underwriting agents and insurance brokers.

Mosaic’s professional liability underwriters include Anna Jay, senior vice president, head of professional liability; Danny Clack, senior vice president, deputy active underwriter; Francesca Harland, assistant vice president, underwriter, professional liability; and Pete Young, assistant vice president, underwriter, professional liability.

Mosaic said in May it had recruited senior transactional risk executives Stavan Desai, formerly at American International Group Inc., and Katherine Spenner, previously with Everest Re Group Ltd.
