Wirecard’s ex-CEO sues Chubb to claim D&O compensation

Markus Braun, the former chief executive of bankrupt German financial services provider Wirecard AG, has reportedly sued insurer Chubb Ltd. to cover his defense costs under the directors and officers liability insurance policies taken out by Wirecard, The Bharat Express News reported citing Bloomberg. Mr. Braun, who is imprisoned for nearly a year in Wirecard’s commercial fraud case, has hired some of the most expensive criminal and civil lawyers and a public relations expert for his defense.
