The Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc.’s annual conference has never been a dry event. And as RIMS regulars know, there is usually dancing at some point.
That the annual conference, slated to begin Monday, went online for the pandemic didn’t stop organizers from turning things loose.
Categorized under “Networking Breaks,” the two-week agenda includes such events as a Bollywood dancing performance, an international jazz festival, ’80s Jeopardy, and drink-making classes that explore such classics as the dry martini and the mint julep.
For those who want to get physical, fitness and nutrition classes are also on tap. And what would RIMS be without golf? There’s also a golf tips course provided by Ladies Professional Golf Association pros.
