Bermuda insurer names former Ironshore exec as co-CEO

Mosaic on Tuesday named Mark Wheeler as co-CEO, joining fellow former Ironshore Ltd. executive Mitch Blaser as a head of the Bermuda-based start-up insurer.
Mr. Wheeler founded Lloyd’s of London syndicate 4000, which was bought by Ironshore in 2008. He held various executive roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. after it bought Ironshore in 2017.
Mosaic launched operations in Bermuda, London, the United States and Asia in February.
Its anchor investor is Golden Gate Capital, a San Francisco-based private equity firm.
