Egypt to release Ever Given vessel after owners pay up

Osama Rabie, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, said that Egypt will release the Ever Given vessel only after signing a compensation agreement for the losses and the cost of freeing the ship, The Bharat Express News reported. The vessel blocked the channel for six days, costing the Suez Canal Authority $15 million per day in lost revenue.
