Sedgwick buys California-based building consulting firm

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Inc. said Tuesday it has acquired Construction Services Co.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Roseville, California-based CSC is a regional building consulting firm serving the Western United States, including California, Arizona, Oregon, Colorado, Nevada and Washington, according to its website.

CSC provides loss assessment analysis including code and ordinance evaluations and determinations, according to its website.

All nine employees of CSC will move to Sedgwick, according to an email from a spokeswoman, including founder Harry Parrish, who joins Sedgwick as vice president.

Tom Simoncic, president of Sedgwick’s property Americas division, said in the statement that the deal expands the footprint of Sedgwick’s building consulting practice.
