BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Premiums may rise in Trinidad and Tobago

The Association of Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Companies said premiums may increase due to several factors that have affected local carriers, Trinidad Express Newspapers reported. The proclamation of the Insurance Act 2018 effective Jan. 1 has increased capital requirements and operating costs for insurers, while the current uncertainty surrounding liability for infectious diseases, including COVID-19 has also affected them.
