Nearly 1 million chickens will be culled in the Japanese prefecture of Fukuoka after an avian influenza outbreak at a poultry farm in the region, Republic World reported. Fukuoka becomes the second Japanese prefecture with bird flu cases, after Kagawa, where 1.3 million chickens have been culled already.
