Moldovan insurers’ premiums drop by nearly 13%

According to Moldova’s National Bureau of Statistics, insurers’ gross written premiums declined by nearly 13% year-on-year to 1.06 billion Moldovan lei ($62 million) in the first nine months of the year, SeeNews reported. Pre-tax profit rose to MDL100.7 million from a profit of MDL60.5 million in the year-ago comparable period.
