BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Flood-related claims surpass $760 million

Data from the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission showed that six provinces received a total of 188,000 flood-related insurance claims worth nearly 5.3 billion Chinese yuan ($763 million) in the past month, Asia Insurance Review reported. These provinces include Hubei, Hunan, Guangxi, Jiangxi, Sichuan and Anhui, with Anhui receiving the maximum number of claims. The provinces have paid CNY 916 million in compensation so far.
