Allianz faces additional capital requirement of $170 million

The Australian Prudential Regulation Authority has imposed an additional capital requirement of $250 million Australia ($170 million) on Germany-based Allianz S.E. following risk governance self-assessment of the insurer, Financial Standard reports. The assessment revealed that Allianz was carrying out remediation work to strengthen its risk management and close gaps in its governance.
