BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Aon Broking CEO Tom Fitzgerald exits

Tom Fitzgerald is leaving Aon PLC after 27 years, the brokerage announced Wednesday.

Mr. Fitzgerald will immediately transition his responsibilities, and Aon will not replace his role, Aon said in a statement.

He most recently served as chief executive of Aon Broking, and previously led the U.S. commercial risk and health businesses.

“Tom is a global thinker with a proven track record of industry-leading innovation. The firm recognizes his many years of service and wishes him well as he begins the next chapter of his career,” Greg Case, chief executive officer of Aon, said in the statement.

“It has been an absolute privilege to serve Aon for over 27 years,” Mr. Fitzgerald said in the statement, adding, “I began my professional career at Aon.”

Mr. Fitzgerald succeeded Warren Mula as CEO of Aon Broking in 2016.
