Brokerslink CEO Jacqueline Legrand steps down

Jacqueline Legrand has resigned as chief executive officer of Brokerslink, effective Thursday.
Ms. Legrand, recently honored as a Business Insurance Women to Watch EMEA, will return to New York to take on a new professional opportunity and reunite with her family after six years based in Europe, according to a statement released by Brokerslink on Thursday.
She has been involved with Brokerslink since 2009, during her time as managing director for international business at Crystal & Co. in New York and then when she joined MDS Group in 2012. She has been chief operating officer and member of the board at MDS Group, a shareholder of Brokerslink, since 2012.
During her final tenure as CEO of Brokerslink, she was assigned by the board of directors to design and launch the next phase of the company’s development, following the transformation of Brokerslink from an association to a for-profit corporation, according to the statement.
José Manuel Fonseca, the next chairman of Brokerslink effective Jan. 1, will oversee the transition.
Ms. Legrand could not be reached for comment on her future plans.
