Alliant launches consultancy for commercial risks, complex claims

Alliant Insurance Services Inc. has launched Imperium Consulting Group to help clients manage commercial risks and resolve complex claims and disputes, the Newport Beach, California-based specialty broker said in a statement Tuesday.
Imperium offers experience with construction, government contracts, Federal Emergency Management Agency matters and commercial contractual disputes and services provided by experts such as engineers, forensic schedulers and accountants, the statement said.
The consultancy also provides insurance claims preparation services and recovery strategies related to property damage, business interruption, surety, subcontractor default, builders risk and delay-in-start-up, the statement said.
Colin A. Daigle, who was most recently a managing director in the construction practice with Marsh LLC, will head Imperium and be based in Washington, D.C., the statement said.
“Complementing Alliant Specialty’s risk management and insurance expertise, Colin brings a wealth of experience and insight that will help businesses measure and mitigate the economic impact of property loss and contract disputes,” Peter Arkley, president of Alliant Specialty Insurance Services Inc., said in the statement.
