MGU of Bermuda insurer appoints executive

Rory Cline has been named president and CEO of Ethos Insurance Services, the Bermuda-based Ascot Group Ltd.’s U.S. managing general underwriting platform.
Mr. Cline was formerly Ethos’ chief underwriting officer. He will report to Jerry Tegan, the Ascot Group’s executive chairman U.S. Both are based in New York.
Mr. Cline replaces Michael Sillat, who left the company this year.
Ascot U.S. Holding Corp. said in May it had acquired Parker, Colorado-based Greyhawk Insurance Co. and its wholly owned subsidiary Greyhawk Specialty Insurance Co.
