Swiss Re Corporate Solutions names Canada exec

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions named Jamie Mullarkey to be head of property and energy for Canada, effective Sept. 1, the unit of Swiss Re Insurance Co. said in a statement Tuesday.
Mr. Mullarkey leads property and energy underwriting in Canada with teams based in Toronto and Vancouver, the statement said. Most recently, Mr. Mullarkey was underwriting team leader for the Northeast.
Based in Toronto, he reports to Adrian Hall, head of Canada, according to an email from a spokeswoman.
Mr. Mullarkey succeeds Yvonne Steiner, who left Swiss Re, the statement said.
