BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Keith Kenner named publisher of Business Insurance

Keith Kenner has been named publisher of Business Insurance effective Aug. 31, 2018. In response to growth over the past two years and as part of an overall growth strategy, additional resources will also be added to the Business Insurance commercial sales team.

“Since purchasing Business Insurance from Crain in 2016, we’ve experienced strong growth and further solidified our position in the marketplace as the source of news and information for the commercial insurance and risk industry. Elevating Keith to the role of publisher will help foster our continued expansion,” says Adam Potter, CEO of Business Insurance.

“I’m excited about the future of Business Insurance. It’s a fantastic time for the company as we strengthen our digital product offerings while continuing to deliver the industry’s news in both print and digital platforms. I look forward to continuing to work with clients as we help them achieve their own marketing goals,” says Mr. Kenner.

Mr. Kenner joined Business Insurance in 2016 as a director of major accounts. He’s led the development of the organization’s digital offerings and has worked with many clients as they use Business Insurance platforms to grow their business. Throughout his career, Mr. Kenner has held sales management positions with organizations including The New York Times, BusinessWeek, MyWebGrocer and Thomson Reuters.

Mr. Kenner succeeds Peter Oxner, who guided the commercial team during the transition in ownership and for the past two years.
