RMS names CFO amid senior management changes

Catastrophe modeling firm Risk Management Solutions Inc. named Reed Birnbaum chief financial officer Monday amid several senior management changes over the past few months.
Newark, California-based Mr. Birnbaum was previously senior vice president of finance and analytics at RMS. He replaces Peter Eidelman, who became a partner at consulting firm FLG Partners in May.
Meanwhile, Mike Pritula, a former longtime senior partner at McKinsey & Co. in New York who joined RMS as president last year, left the firm last month, an RMS spokeswoman confirmed. No further details were available, and a successor as president has not yet been named.
Earlier this year, technology executive Karen White replaced Hemant Shah as CEO of RMS.
