Everest signs agreement with drone analytics company

Everest National Insurance Co., a unit of Everest Re Group Ltd., said Monday it had signed an agreement with Airware, a drone analytics company.
The financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed, a spokesman said.
San Francisco-based Airware will work with Everest to deploy drones for roof inspections, a company spokesman said. Aerial data from these inspections will be used by adjusters and inspectors to enhance loss prevention and claims functions, the spokesman said.
