Airport operator sues local insurer over $110-million damage bill

St. Maarten-based Princess Juliana International Airport Operating Co. N.V. has filed a lawsuit against local insurer National General Insurance Corp. N.V. after its refusal to pay the airport’s $110-million hurricane damage-related claim, The Daily Herald reported. The airport filed a claim with the insurer for more than $100 million under its all-risk insurance policy and $10 million under its business interruption policy for 2017.
