Arch Capital Group Ltd. on Wednesday said it has named François Morin executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective May 25.
Mr. Morin will replace current CFO Mark Lyons, who is leaving Arch to become senior vice president and chief actuary of general insurance at American International Group Inc. in New York, Arch said in a statement.
Mr. Morin will report to Marc Grandisson, president and chief executive officer of Arch.
Now senior vice president, chief risk officer and chief actuary of Arch, Mr. Morin joined the company in 2011, according to the statement.
“François’ extensive experience leading Arch’s actuarial and enterprise risk management practices gives him valuable perspective into all financial and capital aspects of our company,” Mr. Grandisson said in the statement.
“Mark and I have worked together since the early days of Arch in 2002,” Mr. Grandisson said. “We wish him all the best.”
American International Group Inc. said Monday that Mark D. Lyons will rejoin the insurer as senior vice president and chief actuary for general insurance, effective June 1.
