A corrected version of the 2018 Top 10 Captive Managers ranking has been published on BusinessInsurance.com and in the 2018 Captive Managers & Domiciles Ranking & Directory.
Following recent discussions with Aon Captive & Insurance Management, in which definitions of captive survey categories were clarified, Aon has revised its submission to more accurately reflect the Aon portfolio of captives.
Under Business Insurance’s definition of licensed insurance entities, Aon managed 984 captives in 2017. In the March issue of Business Insurance, Aon was listed as managing 1,293 captives.
The change alters the ranking of the largest two captive managers. The corrected ranking can be viewed here.
