Aon appoints CEO of distribution channel

Aon P.L.C. said Wednesday that Richard Schuyler has been named CEO of the Aon Carrier Link distribution channel.
Mr. Schuyler, who is based in Chicago, is replacing Peggy Stewart, who has been named chief data officer for Aon’s commercial risk solutions business in New York, an Aon spokeswoman said.
In his new role, Aon said, Mr. Schuyler will focus on helping clients digitally manage the placement process by using technology to connect Aon’s retail broking organization with insurers.
Mr. Schuyler joined Aon in 2013 and was most recently global CIO for Aon’s business technology solutions group.
Aon Carrier Link “uses data and analytics to give buyers greater choice and efficiency of placing the largest and most complex risks,” Aon said.
