BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

One Call, Acelity partner on remote therapy monitoring

One Call Care Management Inc. on Tuesday said it has partnered with Acelity L.P. Inc., an advanced wound care company, to deliver remote therapy monitoring for injured workers.

Jacksonville, Florida-based One Call is working with San Antonio-based Acelity to bring to the market iOn Progress Remote Therapy Monitoring for patients with difficult-to-heal wounds that may require extensive negative pressure wound therapy in the home, according to a statement.

The solution addresses elongated healing times, which One Call believes are the result of nonadherence to therapy, according to the release.

iOn Progress will deliver continuous at-home monitoring for patients prescribed NPWT in the home, monitoring adherence and securely transmitting data to a group of individuals who will interact with patients to drive proper utilization, according to the release.

“Pairing Acelity’s digital health technology and unparalleled wound care solutions with our extensive home health network and equipment and device offering allows One Call to offer a truly holistic approach to wound management,” Will Smith, chief product officer at One Call, said in the statement.
