EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants and the trustees of the American Council of Engineering Companies Business Insurance Trust said Thursday that EPIC unit Greyling Insurance Brokerage & Risk Consulting Inc. has been selected as the broker and program administrator for the ACEC BIT Program.
Atlanta-based Greyling will take over the program, which insures about 900 ACEC member engineering firms across the country, effective Jan. 1, 2018, an EPIC and ACEC BIT statement said. Marsh L.L.C. was the former broker and administrator of the program, sources say.
Founded in 2005, Greyling focuses on providing risk management and insurance protection to engineering firms across the country and internationally, EPIC said in a statement.
Private equity firm Oak Hill Capital Management L.L.C. has agreed to acquire all of The Carlyle Group L.P.’s stake in EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, giving Oak Hill a controlling equity position in the brokerage.
