To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Floods, landslides cause nearly $180 million of damage

The Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research said that floods and landslides caused an estimated 170 million Swiss francs ($178.3 million) worth of damage last year, Swissinfo.ch reported. Floods or debris flows accounted for 94% of the damage, while landslides contributed 2% and rockfalls nearly 4%. Thunderstorms and heavy rains caused about 66% of the disasters. Floods in the Zofingen region in Aargau canton in July and the rock avalanche near the village of Bondo in Graubunden canton in August caused the most damage.
