BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Generali finds ILS terms more competitive than traditional reinsurers

Italy-based insurer Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. said that insurance-linked securities offered "more competitive terms" than traditional reinsurers in some cases, Artemis.bm reports. The insurer said that part of the European windstorm exposures have been carved out from the main reinsurance protection and placed in the ILS market. The insurer is likely to increase its use of the ILS market in order to reduce its peak risks and optimize its reinsurance placements.
