BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

High insurance premiums, frequent claims force retailers to self-insure

A report by representative body Retail Ireland said that high insurance premium costs and frequent claims are forcing several retailers in the country to self-insure, Independent.ie reported. Retail Ireland said that its members have to allocate €1 ($1.23) of every €100 in sales for insurance claims. Most claims in a retail outlet cost up to €30,000 and take more than nine months to settle.
