To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

NN Group's insurance profits rises 22%

Dutch insurer NN Group N.V.'s property/casualty and health insurance business profit fell 52% in the fourth quarter of 2017, driven by high disability claims, Reuters reported. NN Group’s overall profit, however, grew 22% year over year to €345 million ($430 million) in the fourth quarter of 2017, largely due to its recent acquisition of Delta Lloyd N.V. The insurer's nonlife business is expected to take a €75 million hit in the first quarter of this year due to the damage caused by recent storms in Europe.
