BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

XL Catlin appoints Phil Xue as CEO of China

Bermuda-based insurer XL Catlin has appointed Phil Xue as chief executive of its XL Insurance (China) Co. Ltd. unit, Middle East Insurance Review reported. Mr. Xue will also act as country manager for XL Catlin in China. Most recently, he served as head of South China market and head of Shanghai operations at U.S.-based reinsurance intermediary Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C.
