JLT Re taps Zurich exec to lead North America cyber, E&O

JLT Re, the reinsurance brokerage unit of London-based Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group P.L.C., said Thursday that former Zurich North America executive Erica Davis has been hired as senior vice president in New York, where she will lead the cyber and errors and omission practice for JLT Re in North America.
Ms. Davis, who is scheduled to start later this month in the newly created role, was senior vice president and head of specialty E&O at Zurich North America, and held various roles with since joining the insurer in 2009, JLT Re said in a statement.
“Bringing both cyber and E&O expertise to our team, Erica will contribute to our on-going growth and add to the specialized service offerings of JLT Re,” Ed Hochberg, CEO of JLT Re North America, said in a statement.
