Lloyd's syndicates in talks to enter India

Shankar Garigiparthy, chief executive at the India branch of Lloyd's of London, said that up to four Lloyd's syndicates are in talks to enter the country, Moneycontrol.com reported. Inga Beale, chief executive of Lloyd's, said that the market is looking to increase its business in the country to take advantage of profitable growth, a supportive tax structure and new categories of products in niche areas.
