Qatar General Insurance to exit UAE

Qatar General Insurance and Reinsurance Co. P.J.S.C. has started the process of departing from the insurance market in the United Arab Emirates amid a diplomatic crisis between Qatar and its neighboring countries, Middle East Monitor reported. "We will prepare and implement a plan to exit the Dubai market, after coordination and obtaining the approval of the concerned regulatory authorities," the insurer said.
