To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Nonlife underwriting profitability improves in Asia Pacific: Swiss Re

A report by Swiss Re Ltd. found that nonlife underwriting profitability has improved in developed Asia Pacific countries such as Australia and Japan during the year, Asia Insurance Review reported. Australian nonlife insurers' profitability improved despite higher natural catastrophe losses, driven by higher premium rates, reserve releases and higher reinsurance protection for peril claims. Japanese nonlife insurers are expected to record stable underwriting profits driven by benign catastrophe losses.
