Hurricanes cause $85 million of damage to ports in Virgin Islands

The Virgin Islands Port Authority in the U.S. Virgin Islands in the Caribbean said that hurricanes Irma and Maria caused $85 million worth of damage to the islands' ports, The Virgin Islands Consortium reported. The ports were closed for almost two weeks in September following the hurricanes. The hurricanes also damaged the Cyril E. King International Airport terminal on the island of St. Thomas.
