BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

French weather index insurance broker gains access to Lloyd's market

France-based weather index insurance and reinsurance broker Meteo Protect S.A.S. has received coverholder status from Lloyd's of London, enabling the firm to underwrite and issue policies for Lloyd's syndicates, Artemis.bm reports. The coverholder status provides Meteo Protect with access to the Lloyd's brand, security and ratings, as well as its market of traditional and alternative underwriters. Gabriel Gross, chief executive of Meteo Protect, said that the firm's relationship with Lloyd's offers new opportunities to provide weather index-based insurance to the market.
