Marsh names captive solutions leader

Marsh L.L.C. on Thursday said it has named Las Vegas-based Ellen Charnley president of Marsh Captive Solutions, effective immediately.
She succeeds Nick Durant who has joined Guy Carpenter & Co. L.L.C., Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc.’s reinsurance intermediary unit, in a senior advisory role, according to a Marsh spokeswoman.
In her new role, Ms. Charnley will have oversight of Marsh’s captive solutions business, which manages more than 1,200 captives in 44 domiciles around the world, Marsh said in a statement.
Previously, Ms. Charnley was global sales leader of Marsh Captive Solutions and other consulting businesses within Marsh.
